COVID-19 Pandemic Response

In order to help reduce the burden on our primary care and ER colleagues in the fight against COVID-19, CT Pediatric ENT remains open at this time and is dedicated to being here for you and your loved ones. This website will be changing continually as we receive new information, so please check back regularly.

Telemedicine visits

We will be switching the majority of our visits to telemedicine visits, in accordance to emergency provisions allowed by the state. This is so that we can continue to take care of your child while still keeping them safe.

If you have a telemedicine visit coming up, please let us know which of the following you would prefer:

Scenario A – Regular phone call
Scenario B – Video call, and you have an Apple iPhone
Scenario C – Video call, and you’d like to use a non-iphone Smart Phone (app-downloading capabilty)
Scenario D – Video call, and you’d like to use a computer (need Internet connection)

For scenarios A and B, you do not need to do anything extra to prepare for your visit.

For Scenario C – please download an app called ZOOM Cloud Meetings from your app store. Create a free account. At the time of your appointment, you will receive a text message with the link to your video conference with your practitioner.

For Scenario D – please go to, sign up for free, and create a new account. At the time of your appointment, you will receive an e-mail from your provider – be on the lookout for this. Follow the link, and you will be connected for your video conference.

*Note: standard texting and internet usage rates will apply for video conferencing.

Clinic Visits

Lastly, if your child is still coming in for an in-person visit, please stay in your car, and call the office number to let us know you are here. We will call you in once your appointment time is ready. We have closed our clinic appointments at Yale Hospital to reduce exposure of your child to the hospital environment. Here are the numbers for the other three offices:
Madison Office: (203) 245-0496
North Haven Office: (203) 234-8199
Shelton Office: (203) 242-0466

If your child has any of the following, please let us know:

  • Fever higher than 101.4
  • Cough/runny nose/cold symptoms
  • Exposure to someone with COVID-19 or being tested for COVID-19.

We do not have any COVID-19 testing available at our clinics.
