Rounak B. Rawal, MD

Rounak Rawal MD

Dr. Rounak B. Rawal is a board-certified Pediatric Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgeon at Connecticut Pediatric Otolaryngology and is a clinical instructor in the Division of Otolaryngology at the Yale School of Medicine in New Haven. He completed fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School and residency training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Rawal’s research interests include pediatric cochlear implantation, hearing loss, and skull base surgery.

Dr. Rawal has published over fifteen manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at numerous national and international conferences. He serves as a reviewer for peer-reviewed journals in his field. He also continues to teach residents and medical students at Yale. He has received multiple grants for his research, and during medical school he was accepted into the prestigious Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship Program to pursue research in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Rawal is fluent in Marwari and conversational in Spanish.
